(Quora) How much do I have to know about neuroscience when studying the relationship between quantum physics and consciousness/the mind?
A. You don’t need to study neuroscience or quantum physics to know what consciousness is. It is the most direct, immediate experience that you can have, not needing any proof or definition. Consciousness is awareness. Are you aware right now? Being unobjectifiable, Consciousness is indefinable and unstultifiable, and that is so because it is pure, irreducible subjectivity – there is no plurality of subjects. Cf. Francis Lucille and Paul Bush (the latter in Quora) on this question.
(There were other, more turgid – meaning distended, swollen; not bombastic – answers: cf quora below)
