Deep sleep… the mind is dormant,” but the Spirit is awake”
We mentioned love, being, and understanding as in intimate relationship with silence – and that should be enough! But we also said that silence is our essence, and that the essence of the manifested (the Universe or creation) is in the unmanifest, its prototype (the muted end-point of the syllable OM, thus the soundless sound). Is there a greater mystery?

Albeit silence produces a greater benefit,
Since it is not an annihilation which is
Sought in silence, but, rather, it is
Being that which is being pointed to.

And reason itself rests in silence,
Then begins the Path supreme.

What in multiplicity, creation is sound and movement is silence and quiet beauty before creation. And, of course, it is love throughout.
