The method of Vedanta

The method followed by Vedanta is direct revelation of reality. It recognizes the limitations of words to articulate the reality which is beyond words and thoughts, while at the same time appreciating the fact that reality is not something apart from our everyday life consisting of forms and words. The reality which we are seeking is in actuality the reality which we are living. Our experience, therefore, is the touchstone of realiy… we are Life itself and the world before us is but a single manifestation of it.
