The essence of Tao – La esencia del Tao

Whoever wants to incarnate the Tao must accept everything. To accept everything means first of all not to feel anger nor resistance towards any idea or thing, live or dead, with form or formless. Acceptance is the real essence of Tao.

To accept everything also means to distance oneself from any concept of separation: man and woman, I and other, life and death. Division is contrary to the nature of the Tao.

Renouncing antagonism and separation, one enters into the harmonious unity of all things.

Lao Tse (Hua Hu Ching, c. III)

–Lao Tse (Hua Hu Ching, c. III)
