On poetry IV – Sobre la poesía IV

Poetry starts with the word and all its powers, one of which is its musicality (especially in lyrical poetry). Following Walter Pater, "all art tends constantly to musicality… the poet gives to the words all their power and, conversely, the failure of words – due to "lack of tuning", vagueness or ignorance – amounts to the failure of the poetry".
