Tao Te Ching 9

Fill your bowl to the brim
and it will spill.
Keep sharpening your knife
and it will blunt.
Chase after money and security
and your heart will never unclench.
Care about the approval of people
and you will be their prisoner.

Do your work, then step back—
The only path to serenity.

Llena tu cuenco hasta el borde y verterá su contenido.

Persiste en afilar tu cuchillo y se hará romo.

Persigue el dinero y la seguridad

Y tu corazón nunca se calmará.

Busca la aprobación de la gente y serás su prisionero.
